Happy Thanksgiving

Today we enjoyed a time of remembrance and celebration for all the blessings in our life. We took time to reflect on the importance of family and traditions that we all cherish. The Thanksgiving dinner was incredible! Everyone made their favorites and some new dishes were made for the first time. Melissa hand painted the serving dish that the turkey was served on. It was a touching reminder of how many family's are represented at one table. A wonderful afternoon was spent enjoying family and watching the nieces and nephews play together. A special place setting was made for Austin in his memory. Much of the love that this family has for one another was made stronger through the tragedy that so suddenly took his life. A special time of prayer was included as a part of Thanksgiving dinner. Throughout the rest of the evening, seconds of turkey and sides were served as well as homemade pies and cakes.
